Book of the Week | Born a Crime by Trevor Noah
Do you fancy something, may it be anything?
As far as I know, there are desires and the need to escape, that lead you to fantasize.
You may bring up several other thoughts that drive one to dwell over fantasies, but in a larger aspect, it will be categorized under the canopy of desire and escape. Yeah, that’s the theme for this week.
Fantasy has deep psychology behind it when we have a thought that gives us pleasure, and we have this "if only it was true" there is a conscious mind that may tell us that it's not possible. You see! A thing you want may happen, your fantasy may change to reality.
We’ll be reading Trevor Noah’s Born a Crime, this week.
Synopsis: Trevor Noah's memoir interweaves vignettes from his childhood and adolescence with reflections on the history and culture of South Africa. The various episodes are not always presented in a strict chronological order, and they include information about his life and the life of his mother.
I hope you get inspired and entertained by this lovely masterpiece!
