Author of the week - Markus Zusak

Hello everyone, it’s been quite a while we have actually payed attention to the beautiful people around us and not judge them by their external appearance. Exactly this is what our this week’s author Markus Zusak has to say.
Markus is an Australian Writer who was born and brought up in Sydney, Australia. He has two sisters and one brother and he is the youngest of them all.
Zusak is an author of six books from which the books “The messenger”, “The Book Thief” and “Bridge of Clay” have been a hit.
Markus has graduated from the University of New South Whales, gaining a Bachelor’s of Arts degree and also Diploma of Education. He used to teach English while writing in his high school Engadine High School.
Markus Zusak has won numerous awards in his career. Including, CBC Book of the Year Award in 2003 and NSW Premier’s Literary Award in 2003 for the book The Messenger.
Apart from these he has also won Kathleen Mitchell Award, Bulletin Blue Ribbon Book Award, Publishers Weekly Best Books of the year - Children, Printz Award Honor Book Award, etc..
