Good evening peeps… for the Mythological Fiction week we have picked Amish Tripathi today!
This Indian author was born on 18th October 1974 who is best known for his book series Shiva Trilogy — the fastest-selling book series in Indian publishing history and Ram Chandra series that followed to be the second-fastest ;)
Amish is a former IIM Kolkata student who started his career as a banker and worked in the finance industry for 14 years. The success of his debut book The Immortals of Meluha encouraged him to change paths and be the award-winning author he is today.
The passion he holds around history, mythology, and philosophy, finding beauty and meaning in all world religions; is visible in this writing. Tripathi’s books have sold over 5.5 million copies in the Indian subcontinent since 2010. And have been translated into 19 Indian & international languages.
Multiple award winner Amish didn’t stop at being one of the top authors, he took new steps towards heights as a film producer in 2020 September. It came to light by his announcement that he is turning into a producer with an adaptation of his novel, Legend of Suheldev: The King Who Saved India, under the banner Immortal Studios, with Wakaoo Films and Casa Media.
